i always check the topshop sale for bargains as i dislike spending much money on clothes. but today i was so bored after work, so checked out their 'new in' page and fell in love with these items. i'm definitely thinking about using some of the money i've made this weekend on ebay to purchase the boots, i love them!

fallen in love with a pair of shoes..

jeffrey campbells, office, £60; midi dress, charity shop, £3/4

I bought my first pair of jeffrey campbell's and i have fallen in love. I have read on many blogs that you will fall in love with this shoe brand and yes, I have. They are beautiful. They are higher than what I expected (Office, you are decieving), but still, they are still manageable to walk in due to the platform. Definitely my best purchase so far in my life and I have made a lot of purchases! 

The midi dress is from a charity shop in my closest big town. My sister found it and at first I wasn't convinced. I bought it with the intention to cut it shorter and hem it. But since then, I wore it to a friend's birthday dinner and I got a few compliments, so I think I'll stick with the length for now. It has adorable embroidered orange and white flowers on the front under my boobs. It's lovely. 

I also dyed my hair brown. It was so ruined from me continually dying it blonde this past year (my natural colour is sort of ginger) that it was turning yellow, yuck. I wanted to get it to a mousy brown as a base for me to decide what colour/shade I wanted to dye it next. But, it went really dark - even though I left it on for less time - so I washed it a million times to lighten it and to de-green it (apparently that's what happens when you dye blonde hair, brown!) and I quite like it now. Bit patchy, but I can deal with that for now.

Just a summary of photos from the past few weeks.. the top couple are from my 

family holiday in Cornwall; I also dyed my hair purple just before Latitude 2012 Festival and then I found these AA replica disco pants which were a bit big but I took them in and I love them

I have wanted a pair of airmax for a while, but I was not prepared to pay anything for them because they are completely unaffordable, but after overarching and searching for hours on ebay, I came across these blue, white and gold ones. At a starting price of £4 and the seller having a high positive feedback, I was expecting the bidding to go up and up. But no, I was wrong, it stayed at a measly £4 and I won them. They are a little bit big but in excellent condition so I'm happy.

Oh and I got my nose pierced. I've wanted it done for a while but wasn't planning to get it done so soon, it was just a spontaneous decision when I was in town with my sister one day. I didn't even tell my parents! 

seeing as it is one of my summer 'to-do's', i've finally plucked up the courage to start this journey into the bloggin' world. please treat me kindly x
