NEED IN MY LIFE

WANT. NEED. LOVE.

Missguided's black jumpsuit is the loveliest thing ever and I really really want it, but just can't justify spending £35 right now. It would be ridiculously versatile and I can think of sooo many outfits to wear it with.

TOPSHOP wants

Absolutely love these 3 from Topshop. I will definitely be buying a pair of jellies sandals soon; I love how they were a big thing when I was little and now they've returned. Midi dresses are a fave of mine now. And the flatforms are beautifuuuul!

riding pants and heeled sandals

BIRTHDAY LIST

It's my 18th on the 6th and I've spent weeks searching for the perfect presents. I've ordered (finally!) a Real Techniques stippling brush and a huge order from Fragrance Direct which I'll do a haul post on after my birthday.
I've been lusting after the AA disco pants for a year or two, but now I much prefer the riding pants because I think the disco pants would draw too much attention because of the shininess. Even though I'd be a self consciousness when wearing them, they are so versatile  The hercules heeled sandals from Asos have been in my 'saved items' for a good 6 weeks now and I love them!

midi

Midi Skirt - Miss Selfridge (my grandma's hand-me-down)
Crop Top - Charity Shop, £1
Belt - Charity Shop £2
Heeled Boots - Office, £25 (sale)

I absolutely love this skirt my grandma gave me. When I first got I thought that it would be too big and too long to wear (I never really used to like midi skirts) but with a few stitches and a new found love from midi's, I've began wearing it. I teamed it with my DIY knitted crop top to show my tan from holiday and my amaaaazzing Office booties which I love!

MUA

After reading a few reviews a few months back, I went to my local Superdrug to purchase a couple of things. At £1 for nearly everything in the brand I was super happy and new that even if I didn't like the products, spending a pound wouldn't hurt! Neither of the lipsticks have a shade name though.
I bought a vibrant pink lipstick and a nude colour. I really really like the nude. It just the right colour for my tanned (yey) skin tone right now. It need reapplying quite regularly though, but it's not really an issue.
When I bought the pink, I hoped it would be really pigmentated  but it's not at all. It's more like a gloss with a hint of pink. Still, at £1 you can't really complain.
I've wanted a concealer stick for a while, but I've known them to dry out my skin for a while so was apprehensive on spending a lot. I LOVE this one and I've already nearly finished this one. I bought the shade 'light' and it's perfect. Nice and bright for under my eyes. I will definitely be repurchasing.

hey there spring

Trousers - H&M, £7 (sale)
T Shirt - Primark, £3
Belt - Primark, £1
Heels - Charity Shop (from H&M), £2
Gold Chain- Dads

I wore this to an 18th birthday a few weeks back and teamed it with a salmon coloured chiffon blazer from Primark. I'm really missing Spain, so decided to bring some summery florals for a March evening.
I really like the boldness of these trousers which I had my eye on for a while. I saw them in H&M probably about 4 times and watched the price drop and drop - I think £7 is a bargain! I liked the smartness of wearing a suit but I didn't feel overdressed as it has a relaxed fit as the trousers and tshirt are both too big. And I obviously teamed it with my bargain, brand new thrifted H&M heels!

paisley

paisley blouse - charity shop, £4
skater skirt - internacionale, £9
knitted crop top - charity shop, DIY, £1
belt - charity shop, £2
gold necklace - dads

I'm such a lover of this baggy blouse right now. I bought it a year back I think and thought it was a bit too crazy. But I love wearing it with an all black outfit now. I wore this outfit to sixth form last week but with a black  strapless top instead and with a pair of studded ballet pumps.

& Other Stories

This week marked the launch of H&M's new label '& Other Stories'. It's a new high street  brand which launched H&M and Cos (which I actually only discovered about whilst reading ELLE today). The brand ignored the fast forever changing fashion trends and focuses on four constant styles tribes or 'stories' which evolve season to season.'& Other Stories' consists of minimalistic, clean cut pieces. Prices are similar to Zara which is affordable but just a little bit steeper than H&M. I am also a huge fan of the website. It's set out like a Tumblr page which is fresh and simple. The theme of minimalism continues into the clothing, definitely in a good way.

Here are a few pieces which I absolutely love and will probably be adding to my ever expanding 18th birthday list!
