zara leaver's dress preview

I found this beautiful dress on Zara on Monday evening and bought it straight away! I mainly ordered it because I wanted to see what the fit is like as I've wanted a midi bodycon dress for my leaver's ball next month for a while. It arrived this afternoon and I love it even more than I thought I would. The fabric is stretcher than it looks in the photo as I thought it would be stiff and I think the pattern is much more vibrant. But I prefer it like this because it's much more summery. It goes perfectly with my lovely wedged heels from eBay aswell :) Zara are great with delivery; I had constant text updates of my delivery and it was packaged beautifully. I will definitely be ordering from them soon

summer loving

Midi skirt - Internacionale, £9
Crop top - New Look, £4 (DIY)

I bought this crop top in Cornwall last year. It's a size 14 but with the help of my sewing machine, I made it into a size 8. It's perfect to wear with this midi skirt because I don't feel like I have too much flesh on show as my legs are pretty covered. I'm off to the annual gala celebrations and then to an 18th, so I'm excited for today!

dandelions

Suddenly had the erg to blog at 23.07pm on a Sunday night because I realised that I haven't blogged all week! I've had a super busy week of doing things non stop including finishing sixth form, so have had no time to just relax by myself. I'm definitely going to dedicate a day soon to just chilling.
Decided to look through Topshop's latest additions and instantly fell in love with this tailored dandelion patterned jumpsuit. At £60, it would be a very good investment which I think would be a piece which would stay in 'fashion' for a while. I can visualise it with a cropped white tee and my white converse, perfect for a summer BBQ.
I have less than a month until my leavers ball and the stress is beginning to kick in that I have not found a suitable/affordable dress which I really really like, ahhh

neutrals

Dress - H&M, £5 (sale)
Blazer - Primark, £7 (sale)

This outfit would look so much better without tights and with a tan, but England being England, that prospect is non existent!
I discovered this dress in my sister's wardrobe which is one she bought before we went to Tenerife. It's 4 sizes too big for us both, but with a waist belt it looks acceptably oversized.

5 days to go

Top - Littlewoods Direct (years old just never worn)
Trousers - Primark, £13
Shoes - Ebay, £28

I've had hardly any sleep the past 4 nights so decided to give revision a miss (I'll definitely regret that decision), so planned a few outfits. I discovered this top hidden away in one of my cupboards the other day which I probably bought 3/4 years ago but have never worn. I think the pop of colour looks good against my elephant trousers - which someone has shrunk in the wash! I thought the contrast between the black and white would look good too and I rather like the outcome.

Vest - Charity shop, £2
Skirt - H&M, £5 (sale)

I've only worn this skirt once because it's ridiuclouly small and I can barely walk/drive/sit in it, but I thought I would give it an outing today. I wore my brand new light blue vest which I bought on Satuday (which I have sadly now got brown hair dye on) and my grey blazer

in love with my news shoes

Sooo in love with my new shoes. They're from eBay and cost £28 and are replicas of a pair which were on Office recently. Stock was selling quick so thought I should snap them up before they sold out. Bought them for my Leaver's Ball, even though I haven't bought a dress yet!

bright stripes

Top - Charity shop, £2
Jeans - Charity shop, £2.50

Bought this top on a quick trip to town before work on Saturday. It's brand new from H&M , but I nabbed it for only £2. It's a bright/florescent pinky coral colour which is perfect for summer. Today, I've teamed it with my ripped boyfriend jeans which I bought a couple of month back

2 weeks to go

Cream silky cami - Primark, £5
Trousers - Matalan, £7
Bag - H&M, £29.99

Felt like making more of an outfit this morning seeing as I haven't the past few weeks. I was going to wear this new cream silk cami from Primark, but struggled to find a vest top which would disguise how see-through it is, so ended up wearing my black one instead. I haven't worn these trousers in a while, but I still love them, even though they are way too big for me!

black on black

Quick outfit post: haven't been able to wear nice clothes this week because an art exam for the past 3 days. But today, I thought I'd brave the risk of acrylic staining my clothes and make an effort.
I love this silky cami from Primark which cost a mere £5 and I have teamed it with my trust black midi bodycon

Topshop's new stock has got to be my favourite of all time. I love the crazy prints and the vibrant colour!

pop of colour

Pink top - Charity shop, £1
Shorts - Primark, £4

Bought these short yesterday which I absolutely love. I can tell I'm going to get a lot of wear out them in the next few months! I've teamed it with my pink blouse this morning. I bought this from a charity shop for £1 and it still had the tags on (£26) from Dorothy Perkins so I was super pleased with that bargain.

aztec and monochrome

Aztec crop top - Random shop, £4
Midi skirt - Internacionale, £9
Jacket - Charity shop, £3.50

I've had this midi skirt for a while now but I bought it two sizes too big so it was baggy and weird looking. I finally took it in last night with my (broken) sewing machine so it now fits well :)
I bought this black and white crop top a few weeks back from a random shop which sells the stock you usually see on eBay. I thought it would a good piece for summer and at £4 I couldn't resist.

Just found out I've been shortlisted for 'Best Dressed Female' for my Leaver's Ball which has made my day a bit happier haha
